Congratulations to the following students on being named the Age Champions from our school athletics carnival late last term. These have been a long time coming as I have been on leave and the children have been very patiently waiting for my return to be presented.

Congratulations to HOWARD on being the winning house. There were lots of big smiles from the Howard house leaders and team on receiving the trophy today at our awards assembly.
Archdiocesan Athletics Canberra
Congratulations to Xavier E, Calvin M, Bella S, Cooper C, Billy I, Abbie H, Mackenzie H and Anikah H who competed at the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocesan Athletics Carnival in Canberra on Tuesday. It was a great day and despite running late into the afternoon all the students had a great day and achieved some wonderful results.
A special mention to Calvin M and Mackenzie H on their selection into the MacKillop Championships in Sydney on 25 September and Sydney Olympic Park. Calvin placed 2nd in the 9 year boys 100m race. Mackenzie had an incredibly successful day, placing 2nd in 11 yrs girls 100m and 200m race and WINNING the 11 years girls high jump with a jump of 1.33m and placing first in long jump with a PB of 3.89m. To top off her highly successful day, Mackenzie was named as the CG Runner Up 11 year girls Age Champion! Congratulations Mackenzie! What an outstanding achievement. We look forward to hearing about both Calvin and Mackenzie’s successes in Sydney later in the term.
