St Mary’s Swimming Carnival Age Champions
On Thursday, we presented the swimming awards to the students who placed first, second or third at our school carnival back at the start of the term.

In exciting news, the winning house was HOWARD! For the second year in a row it is wonderful to see the Howard house captains Levi D and Madison C holding the trophy high and proud.

Southern Region Swimming Narooma
On Monday 19 February, 32 of our students travelled to Narooma to represent St Mary’s at the Southern Region Swimming Carnival. We witnessed some incredible talent throughout the day. Our students encouraged each other and displayed wonderful team spirit and sportsmanship.Congratulations to all our St Mary’s representatives! We are very proud of your efforts and commitment to doing your very best. Below are the names of the students who represented the school on Monday.

Archdiocesan Sports Trials

Students in Years 5 and 6, who display a high skill level within specific team sports are eligible to trial for selection into the Canberra Goulburn Sports Teams. It is important that families are aware that parents must transport their child/ren to the trials as no school transport is provided. Boys and girls are eligible and are encouraged to take all protective equipment.

Rugby League: 11 years/Opens: Tuesday 12 March, Southwell Park, Lyneham, ACT (boys and girls are eligible). Safe play and experience in the game of League required.

Netball: Tuesday 12 March, Southwell Park, Lyneham, ACT.

Soccer/Football: Tuesday 9 April, Southwell Park, Lyneham, ACT (boys and girls are eligible)

Hockey: Friday 15 March (nominations only: if excess students, a trial will take place - high skill level recommended)

Rugby Union: Monday 27 May , Southwell Park, Lyneham, ACT (boys and girls are eligible). Safe play and experience in the game of League required.
